Ute Tailgate bolts

My young bloke removed the tailgate from his ute to have it repaired and has lost the bolts that fix it to the hinges.

Wreckers have none and Holden don't list them anymore.

Are they the same as VY-VZ ones?

I don't recall them being countersunk screws like on H series utes/ vans.

Try Holden Distmantlers Tasmania. He will likely have the bolts you need and he ships.

They are the same. VG-VZ. Also same as Falcon. My VP ute had Ford stamped on them. As was the interior light.

Wait, I read that as the bolts for the catches but you mean the actual hinges that bolt it to the body.

They are the same as VU-VZ. Yes.

From memory they are a 25, or 30mm M8 or M10 high tensile bolt with a washer.

They are the shouldered bolts for the latch and the strap.

@op is after the M8 or M10 bolts for these

that ebay add just said tail gate bolts but when you compare the other advert selling the the gate catch and bolts i can see clearly that what there meant for thats why i change it

i see a lot utes getting wreck on all the commodore owners groups on facebook and we have 2 commodore wreckers here in newcastle
