Does anybody know how to determine what number your vehicle is off the production line? E.g. Car number 450,451,452 by reading the V.I.N or does this not tell you.

Hmmm....didn't work for me although on my 4th attempt it blocked me out saying I had 3 goes and I must be a commercial user. Only thing I may have done wrong was to have "caps Lock" on. The 4th time I tried using the "shift" key!!!
Will try again in 24 hours.

DeiCide that link works but it says my VIN ain't valid. Just looking at the sheet sent by markovr the serial sequence number how do you determine the build number from that. Cos I went and had a look at the ID plate in the engine bay it comes up with two numbers the model number and the body number and Im sure my car aunt the 883618 down the line. I know with the newer cars they have stickers on the front window drivers side e.g. VE 0015 my grandads VN had one so we know his is the 1015 car down the line

So has anyone got the link to work because I just went back in and it says it doesn't recognise my WMI?

Its 6H8VSK19HVL210851

Maybe my car doesn't exist.
