I wanna do the rubber bushes in the rear control arms next so I'll get a set and change the rubbers then just swap the control arms over with the minimum of delay. Trouble is, all the wrecking yards are full of 6 cyl commies. Are 6 cyl control arms the same as V8 ones?

Yes, the rear end is the same in Live axel.

The only differences apart from the engine is the Kframe, Front brakes and Front springs, 80L fuel tank etc.
The SS's had a LSD but its the same as the v6 one.

Arms are the same however some of the bushes are different between FE2 and standard, FE2 are harder.
