So iv done a bit of searching but cant find a dead answer to this.
For my 5L conversion can I use my V6 auto driveshaft with the V8 auto?

As far as I know you can.

The uni's at each end should be the same e.g

As far as I am aware you only need a different tailshaft for different transmissions etc (e.g manual conversions)

They are different, you will need a v8 1

Different length and the spline bit at the end is different also thicker
