Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
As Wot has suggested, what you are showing is in fact an Body Control Module which is mounted under the instrument cluster. The ECU is a metal box that's located behind the passenger side kick panel. BCM are NOT simply interchangeable between Luxury levels.
The Calais unit is a totally different animal to the Acclaim which is basically an Executive with a few safety options added.
Also while I'm at it, you have to have the original matching Ignition key with a BCM otherwise it's a useless black plastic box.

Yeah got the fob, bcm and ecu, the reason i want to change it is i cant get a key to program. Keeps bringing up theft deterrent 31.Did you get the key with the Calais unit ?
Also I have to ask, why are you wanting to change the BCM in the first place ?
Im at a loss with what to do. I just thought the bcm might be stuffed and would be better swapping it all out with another bcm. Like i turned the key to the on position and left it sit for 120mins until the immobiliser turned off, would crank with no start. Sprayed some start ya bastard down the intake and it wanted to start. 31 shouldn't affect the key not starting a car.
