Engine loom should be pretty simple to wire up, power to the ECU, power to the injectors, earths, and the main feed wire to the ignition. It will run without the gauges. Change the temp sender to one that matches the resistance of your gauge and that will work.

Body loom and engine loom are separate. You shouldn't need to connect the 2 at all.

You obviously don't have a lot of friends from new Zealand. I'm surprised how legible immortal is . Always did my head in with the boys from the long white cloud .

I haven't played with anything vl related engine swap wise.

But when I put twin cams in r31's it was always :

Wire up a fuel relay that's switchable by the ecu. I think it's the earth that's switched and it always has constant 12v.

Main power to the ecu.

Accessories and ignition to the ecu.

Tacho signal from dash to the ecu .

Speedo signal from dash to the ecu.

Delcowizzid is the man I'd be hollering at.
