My VS sits on 1/4 when cruising, halfway give or take in traffic.

My VP runs cold as according to the temp gauge. Will get to half way and kick the fan in sitting in traffic, but on the freeway it sits just above C.
I think the thermostat might be stuck open...

Temp Gauge

Mine used to be quite high, but after fixing the radiator, it now sits a little bit below a half. Sometimes on hot days where I go from 100kph to a crawl in traffic, it can start to rise but my fans kick in at 1/2 and it never goes above this.

Thermostat opens at 91c (asuming it has a standard thermostat) & fans come on at 104c so in saying that it should never go higher or lower than that, every needle type gauge will be a little different from car to car so thats nothing to really go by

if your concerned it's running too hot, tridon make a 81 degree thermostat. the part number is tt203-180. v6's standard thermostat opens at 95 degrees not 91.

Well my cooling has got a new lower degree thermostat (81c), new water pump, flushed, pressure tested and new coolant over the period I have had the car. It now runs at around 80-95degrees so all is good! Thanks guys!
