It's fine, personally I'd like to see high 12's but it's not going to make a huge difference power wise, more a safety factor in case things get hot or go lean for any particular reason.

Thanks for the advice, when I fit the new heads I will have him adjust it in the tune. I will definitely drop it on the dyno again once heads go on. Probably be next time I head over to SA in a year or so.

@Matey any news on the build? I'm getting close to finishing the build on my ute. Reckon by the end of the year i should have close to 140rwkw. That will be about it though unless i decide to go boost.

Hi. All my windows in my VR Commodore rattle on not so good roads. All my rubbers are in great condition. Any suggestions on how to eliminate them rattling? Thanks

Seen this. How about the engine build or is that no longer on the cards?

Still waiting for some money. Was considering a LS1 conversion.
LS would be nice but I think $20k is an expensive upgrade on an old VR.

5.7 Ls swaps are getting super cheap these days. Motor, trans, wiring harness with ecu and all bolt ons just have to be willing to look around and getting the best price. Engine mount adaptors and other bits same thing. Can work out really cheap if you know what your doing. Engineeres certificate isn't that hard to get if you wanted it. As long as you know what you can and can't doing the way of if you need big brake upgrade or just a vt upgrade. Do the research and you should be able to get a pretty good idea of cost start to finish.
