Best power upgrade would be a turbo, you should be able to find a used turbo kit on gumtree or Facebook at half the cost of those supercharger kits linked above, if you choose to go forced induction.

As losh1971 point's out those bolt mod give you very little gain for the price you pay.

Yip put a supercharge on her it might give you a year trouble free before you need to rebuild your engine.

Not necessarily, Buicks handle boost just fine. Obviously you wouldn't want to go stupid on an old stock engine. But some mild boost is no problem.

VX II Acclaim Wagon.
Do you need more power or just quicker pick up. For the latter consider a shorter diff.

Not alone it wouldn't, i wouldn't think. Stroker in these old buses is not worth it. Time you machine the engine you would add another $2k on top of the kit. It would be a nice upgrade but way cheaper to find a VS with a factory V8 than build a stroker. There is a bloke on here considering selling a stroker with matched flywheel and T5. No idea what he realistically wants for it but it would be a lot less than building your own.
If you have enough money to throw into a Buick you can make over 450rwhp.
