Can u put a ve 2012 l77 into a ve v6 2010 commordore if u get the ecu bcm cluster programmed for the engine to suit the car and swap the firewall harness out for the brake booster and and module
After changing tail shaft and rear diff and brake system

You are best to have a donor car to draw on. It is not a straight forward project. It’s not like the engine swaps from the 70’s and 80’s.

All modules need to communicate and require the same VIN to do so. The VIN is like the wifi network password. Any mismatched modules can result in a no start condition.

There are interior loom differences too. Expect to swap all the looms throughout the car.

You will require a good knowledge of module programming and the equipment to do it.

Plan to strip the car completely, inside and out.

You will also need to plan for a mod plate to be done, though may not be required in some states.

Body looms. There are quite a few internal looms. There are a lot of modules scattered throughout the car. Some are relative to V8, some V6.
This is why you need a donor car on hand. Otherwise you will quickly find yourself balls deep in sourcing the various parts bit by bit and it will blow the budget out faster than a 16year old can shitpost about V6 exhaust systems during school holidays.

Yes. There are differences year on year to an extent. Series 1. Series 1.5, series 2. Then differences in looms depending on model and features.
It’s a dogs breakfast.

You will also need the factory manual which is found everywhere to download. That will have pin outs for each connector. Problem is that only series 1 exists. There is no series 2 available.
