V8 Auto question?

Hello I have a 7hbd gearbox for sale out of a 97 vs clubsport
a guy who own's a 94 vr ss was interested in it,
my question is if even I give him the complete wiring loom and my ecu will it work in his vr ss

the transmissions are interchangable between VR-VS 5.0's
The HSV motors had the knock sensors on them as well.

So to use the HSV wiring loom and ECU he will also need the knock sensors and knock loom from the HSV motor.

Other than that it should work fine as the engines were the same.

Just sell him the trans on its own, as said, they are the same. The HSV ECU and loom are worth selling on their own, as a lot of people chase the HSV ECU for the tune and need the knock sensor.

I wasn't shore the box would work beause he is running a 5hbd but sounds all good
