v8 clutch adjustment

    How do i go about adjusting my vs-2 v8 clutch,and is the clutch cable still available from holden.

    As far as i know you cant, its hydrulic on s2 so there is no cable, unless you swapped the t5 into it

    this is definately cable clutch and t5,the late 98s have the getrag and hydraulic clutch
    from what i have been told,there is an adjustment where the cable enters the side of the gearbox.

    If it's adjustable, jack it up, pull the drivers side wheel off and you should be able to follow the cable into the box. Where it enters the box there is a plastic shroud, with a plastic nut on the front, turn the nut and it will adjust the clutch, sorry can't remember which way the nut goes though.

    This is going off a VR V6, I presume it would be the same? If not, ignore what I've just written.
