Hey guys, I'm thinking of taking the vr off the road to use as a project. Was wondering if someone could give me a rough price on a ls1 conversion, and running gear?
Vr a v6.
Thank you

Which ever way you go, try and get a whole car(wreck) for the parts. Makes it so much easier, and a lot cheaper.

Nope. 5L and 6 cyl have different bolt patterns.

ls1 could be done cheap as these days. parts are cheap and there is more then enough info floating around the forums. If you can do all the work your self and source cheap parts. I reckon you would be easily able to do it for under $6000.
