V8 into VS Ute

    Hi,
    Sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find it.

    I've got a VS sedan, ex cop car, with a V8 motor (auto transmission) and a VS with a worked V6 (manual).

    Is it possible, and if so, how hard is it to transfer the V8 into the V6 ute and keep the manual transmission?

    your v6 manual box wont fit if its a t5 as far as im aware the v8 version has chunkier input shaft, could pose big drama's unless you get v8 equivalent of the manual box, if its the getrag hydraulic setup im not sure at all what differences would be.
