hey i have a old holden 308 it has a bit of head work and a cam, it had a bit of a knock commin from the top wen i bought it i found it was one of the rockers looked loose wen i pulled the rocker cover off i took the roker set off that was loose an found that one of the pushrods was bent pretty bad!! wat would cause that?? an how do i kno if it will do it again wen i put a replacement back in??

seen it heaps quite common especially when you flog the crap out of them

ways a good solution to fix it from happenin again??? an would it done any damage to the inside of the moter???

Probably woulndt have hurt it, its only going to rub on the head a little if its really bent other then that there not too much else it could do.

Bent push rods are normally caused from valve bouncing. The valve springs might be a bit weak or it might be that someone has just thrashed the guts out of it.
