V8 Supercar season starts this weekend, yet no sign of any free to air coverage
From what I have read, Foxtel have bought the exclusive broadcast rights for next year and Ch 10 will only show 6 live races and the rest will just be highlights...

I've looked at this weekends tv schedule (both Ch7 & Ch10) and there is no sign of any coverage. I've also looked at the V8 Supercar website and it says 'TV Schedule is coming soon'..... The race is tomorrow and yet no schedule has been decided yet ?

All V8 Supercar fans, I urge you to sign this petition started by AVESCO to bring V8 Supercars back to free to air tv!. They need another 240 signatures.

This petition is so poorly advised its not funny, OP really check first bud.

First race is the Clipsal 500 Adelaide - Thursday February 27 to Sunday March 2

There is never any coverage on a test days which this weekend is. Not last year either
It's a test day, not even formula 1 covered their one recently as purely it is for testing and fan day to meet and greet.

Channel 10 + Fox has rights from 2015
All races be shown on Free TV, other behind the scenes will be done with Fox.
Really really check

And it is on free to air when the season starts

so far there is no sign of footage for tomorrow either (race day) on either Ch7, 7mate or Ch10
check out V8 Supercars own website, they still haven't listed any broadcast schedule....

it's definitely going to migrate to Foxtel by 2015. Ch10 will broadcast 6 live races and the rest only highlights

Take a step back, have a break and when settled, re-read the article.

You seem to be jumping the gun on many things related to this.

I have read the article and other related articles
they are talking about just 6 live races (no doubt enduros) being broadcast live on Ch10
the rest of the series will just be highlights, unless of course you have Foxtel
