Hello people. I was wondering how big a V8 Throttle body is cause i think a stock standard throttle is 60mm is that right and if i get a V8 throttle body would there be much difference and would you be able to tell the difference. I am putting a ACL VRS kit on it and new rollmaster timing chain tensioner New waterpump K&N Pod Filter and i have a 2 1/2 inch lukey exhaust. So i was thinking of getting a Vn/Vp V8 throttle to put on it is there any other small costly things i could do to make my car better, and just a wild guess how many Rwkw do you think i would have. And i got my new motor compretion tested and it was 155 putting a whole new gasket set ACL VRS kit should put out a better compresstion should it not. thanx

Putting a V8 TB on is a fairly common mod. Not sure what the increases are, as i havn't even started to mod my V6 yet.

with the bigger throttle body it only gives u a lil more throttle response, maybe max 1rkw on an unopened motor.. the standard TB's are large enough and the engine can only suck in as much as the heads and manifold allow. if u port or polish ur heads, u'll notice much more of a difference than just whacking on a larger TB. I know, i have a 70mm one on my VS, mainly placibo effect!
