VB Fuel Pump problem. no fuel getting to engine.

i have a vb commodore as a paddock basher, recebtly just stoped, and it is not pumping fuel to the carby or the fuel filter.. where are the fuel pumps on these? are they in the tank? how to go about replacing one? if taht is the problem which im sure it is.

filters are next to the pump ..which is on the side of the engine

there on the block follow the fule line down there is two bolts holding them on

The fuel pump is bolted onto your engine and has an arm that runs on the camshaft to operate the pump. It is on the drivers side just in front of the engine mount and is held on by two bolts. You might have a stripped cam gear too. If the teeth are stripped off the cam gear which is very common then the cam wont turn so the fuel pump wont pump. Take the distributor cap off and wind the engine over so you can see if the rotor button is turning around like it should. If the rotor isnt turning then your cam gear is probably stripped.
