Looks clean mate. What is the deal with the dual battery set up?

judging by the towbar, I'd say the previous owner used the dual battery system for a caravan/camper trailer
what I'm more intrigued by is the 'modified hyclone' ? lol ;)

I suspect it for the missin fog lights from the front seeing theres a switch on the dash and it's comnnected to the alternator. Could be a camper trailer as Darren suggests.

Me to when i inspected the air filter. It's from a F**d.. Intresting thing indeed.

Picture update. the hyclone.

Inspecting the exhaust atm, removing the muffler with holes is a must.

The underbody is clean, just covered in red dirt as the beast is from out west.

Found twin thermo fans on the front even though it has a mechanical fan.

started stripping the motor today followed by removing the exhaust + diff and gearbox then the good old engine crane will be in use once again for the motor, big week ahead!

Saving the interior for last once all the other stuff is removed, sounds like a good plan!

10% dismantling the beast so far, labeling things as i go + taking photos from all points of view and parts/screws/bolts/nuts in there own bags.. Makes it easier to put back togethere!

Can't wait to get bonnet struts, only thing this car didnt have was the rod to support the bonnet.

Most of the engine bay bits have been removed.....

Extractors and carby where taken off today minus the manifold.

Removing engine, gearbox, tailshaft next.... followed by diff, brakes and suspension.

Total hour's put into the project so far about 34hrs. nicely done considering I'm tag n baggin and taggin everything i touch.

Should be done by early August 2012 if the funds are good.

Pictures to come.
