Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help.
My fuel sender in my 6 cylinder carby vk needs to be replaced. I cant find one for a vk but can find one for a vc and vh commodore.
The line and plugs on the outside looks the same.

Does anyone know if they are different.

Cheers

early n/a senders have rubber o-ring & twist on clamp...later cars like vk efi 6 cyl had bolt type senders with gasket.

All fuel tanks will fit with some of mods depending on the model just need to be complete with fuel sender, tank straps & filler neck (vr/s)

Kingswood country & Rare Spares should have new fuel senders

Yes vb to vk 6 cyl carby fuel senders are the same, only difference is the vk has a different plastic float shape on the sender unit. The vk EFI has a different sender unit with screws as gtrboyy has mentioned earlier.

VH had a 'Lo Fuel' light option, I believe the sender was slightly different to allow this capability; not sure exactly what.

VK Grp A senders are the same as squillions of standard VK V8s
