also free low if you are too tight to buy springs and you don't want choppies haha.

minor update today. rotors came in, they are VN groupA slotted. and i only just thought of it now but i could have saved a little messing around and just got them drilled 5x114.3 at the factory.. ah well.
they are a heap thicker than the stocko ones (excuse the dodgy pic)

and how the R33 calipers fit up against them. got 1.5mm spare a side and they obviously aren't centred properly, but you get the idea

mmmm, twin caliper goodness, one for the foot brake, one for the handbrake

and how the assembly lines up with the stock caliper mount... not even close haha.

so i just need to find a set of 4.11 diff gears and i can send the diff off for happy times, still waiting on the watts link to show up so i can weld the brackets on too.
i have an idea how i want to mount the calipers, but will see how it will work after i talk to my machinist mate.

not really anything exciting. should have the diff back in 2 weeks then dive in

minor update. test fitted the actual front wheels i will eventually run. and at pretty much the correct ride height.

this pic is for the handling geeks haha. the balljoint pivot point is 20mm lower than the LCA bolt

and the strut to wheel clearance

camber plate setting. has about -3 degrees camber and +4 degrees caster (with the wheel sitting slightly rearward in the guard)

ride height and outer clearance pics

and the current lock (still have a bit more in store, aiming for 50 degrees)

here is where the camber top will sit after i have modded the towers to get 8 degrees caster and allow more thread to engage on the clevis

rear whiteline swaybar has arrived also, and i'll be taking the diff to mcdonald bros on tuesday to be shortened, 31 spline axles, and have the spool and gears fitted, assembled blah blah

    more little updates.

diff has been dropped off at mcdonald bros to be shortened, 3.89 gears fitted, 31 spline mosier axles... they recieved the spool i bought and said it was rubbish (too much slop in the crownwheel bolt holes and poorly machined splines, so going to attempt to get a refund on that and get one of their chromoly spools.

my other hub, retaining nuts and caps have arrived from TAARK, all genuine nissan. Taarks - The Nissan Specialists

also recieved my bellhousing adapter from yojimbo. looks purdy, shame i'll never see it. t56 to toyota goodness
