Since the commy is not here and many parts are still on the way, I've decided to pull out of shed my mighty 4g63 engine out of Evo 3, highly modified making 400 HP, clean, quick gasket freshen up, hoses etc I know it's not the commodore but most car guys would appreciate it.

Haha if I did the I would excommunicated by the whole Holden community, I am keeping it for another project, lets finish the bloody Vc first

Hi all, parts are slow to arrive but they are coming, new GM key just turned up, the panel beater mate is moving out of his place by 22 Nd, so he ll get it ready for paint and 21 st tow truck is booked to take it to a panel shop! Moving forward, engine will be ready for pick up in November, it's all coming together.

I need to get another flywheel, I have 3 choices, OEM off gumtree 150 bucks, builet one from clutch place for 395 or this one here for 300 bucks, what do you recon?

Nothing wrong with OEM....If it needs machining, get it done....Not sure on price to get it machined though, so worth doing the maths before committing

Flywheels very really wear out, I think I paid $85 for a resurface. Have a good look at the ring gear as that may tip the equation to a new replacement
