When I took it all apart last year, clutch was gone, starter had crack on it, flywheel teeth damaged... Basically all the parts are exchanged , I think the brand new one for 300 is the best option

Certainly does with those issues with the flywheel

Few things getting painted before the rest of the car goes for the final spray, Mark managed to paint the bonnet underneath, inside engineering bay and the boot, rear spoiler and the front... This build keeps me sane during lockdown hehe

I need to get another flywheel, I have 3 choices, OEM off gumtree 150 bucks, builet one from clutch place for 395 or this one here for 300 bucks, what do you recon?

Get the lightest one you can or have the oem machined down, extra rpm will definitely help with the manual box

That did cross my mind, the engine and cam setup is designed for high revs, it will all count at the end , the OEM is very heavy

yep every bit of squeezed extra rpm helps manuals,
if you get it machined dont go to crazy on how much you take off as it affects overall balance

Melbourne lockdown day 3456 haha .... Not much you can do other then wait for parts to arrive ... Today I've managed to stop at the local bolt shop and finally got the dust cover fitted to box casing.Today I've ordered a new accelerator cable so basically the only things missing is a clutch and flywheel, this thing now looks much better than A year before when I took it all apart

Got few parts arrive today, got some paint for interior so I can get finally into painting the centre console and dash bits, gearbox and bell housing together, new exhaust rubbers, new bolts, washers and gaskets for exhaust and extractors, moving forward..

Engine bay , door jams , under where the flares will go all painted, this week flares are going on and final send before it goes to paint shop for final coat
