Jarrod's been putting in some solid hours

Both rear quarters cleaned up, roof done and now onto doors.

Drivers rear door done

The original door was f**ked, so I bought a VL Calais door (as seen in previous post).

Bad news - Had a big ding from hitting a poll or something
Good News - It has central locking, so the king doesn't have to use a key to unlock the door.

Jarrod's got a spare NOS door skin which we'll be putting on, so it'll be nice and fresh.

Drivers front fender needs a small bit of rust fixed, passenger side isn't too bad

Looking to move out from the burbs to acreage towards the end of the year so will have a nice big shed to work on this bad boy.

Cheers big ears

Keep the updates coming. I for one love seeing the progress, even if it is panel work.

Hey guys, slow burn here.

In the middle of buying a new place so everything's go go getting ready for that, but obviously been planning the shed already <,<

Anyways, so the VK Calais door I got was going to cost more than it was worth to fix it, so picked up a VL door on the weekend which has minimal rust.

Bonnet's fixed, wasn't as perfect as the price tag was, lessons learnt

Boot's sorted too, unfortunately also wasn't as nice as it seemed, decided to weld up the badge holes (not pictured)

Door's off to get blasted tomorrow, so once that's done we're basically good to seal and paint (fingers crossed)

Too many
8m is a good depth for a shed too, thats what mine currently is and I wouldn't go any shallower. Allows for a good amount of moving/working room around cars and can pull an engine and box with the roller doors down too (just).

Me when people say they have 8m or more to have a shed big enough to work on cars.

Hey guys! Some updates

We finally moved last weekend, which means I've finally got a shed

Shed's currently 9m x 7.5m and tall enough for a 2.8m 2 post hoist. Still want my big shed, but for the time being looking to get 3m added on the left side and add another bay, as well as re-sheeting the whole thing and vermin-proofing / insulating so it feels new.

Oh yeh the car,
- Door is still at the blasters so will have that back soon hopefully.
- Booked in for Tubs in 6-8 weeks
- Got a ford 9 inch housing
- Ordered Macdonald Bros rear coil kit

Pictures to come
