The Chevvy Guy
I wonder if anyone can help, I'm rebuilding a VC Comm. manual steering rack to go into a 27 Chev tourer with a Mitsubishi L300 front end, is there anything special I should know about rebuilding the rack before I start, I presume I need to dismantle, inspect, clean and replace any seals, bearings, boots, etc., is there anything else I should be wary of before I start, I don't have a shop manual so I'm going in blind, any help and advice will be greatly appreciated. To keep it Commodore related the engine is a supercharged Commodore V6, the rear end is a fully independent Mazda 929 on it's original frame.
