Hi Guys,

Long time lurker of the forum, first time poster , my tuner has recommended 2 cams for me to choose from either the VCM532 or VCM262 as a part of my DOD Delete on a L76 6L... bought the car couple weeks ago and its only got 50,000k's on it - so I want to do everything now while the motor is young. Car is Auto

Both are great, I'd sway toward the 532 if you are otherwise keeping to cam + bolt-ons.
I built my mods around the 262 BTW, some clips via PM if interested.

Hey guys! My ssv S2 ls3 currently has a full DPE exhaust so 1 3/4 headers, 200 cell cats & 2.5 “ cat back with bimodals.
Also got a vcm otr and custom tune.
Im interested in a cam now and was thinking about the vcm 532 or 262.
Im hoping to achieve more bottom end torque so off the line and just very low in the rev range really and some midrange torque too.
Hoping to keep the standard stall and not after a lumpy idle.
Want it to have stock manners if thats possible.
Which of those two cams do you guys recommend? And any additional info about those cams or feedback about what im after is appreciated.

Different LS engine and box but, I had a LSV 223 228 kit installed on my LS1 Auto by "Oztrack", gave excellent response off the line with 3.91 rear.

That is about as big as you can go on a standard stall and still not be a PITA I believe

With a 2800 stall now installed, "the converter shop", it is a beast and I need to look at traction solutions.

In the end I would talk to your tuner

And get a stall to suit your setup, the stall makes a huge difference

Going of the table the 262 would be my choice


My other 2 cents is a shift kit

And talk to your tuner......
