shouldnt need anything, main concern is what offset are the wheels, this is where it could cause it to stick out too far and rub guards etc or push inwards and rub inside of guards(against body), somewhere around 42-48 should be ok

I have 285s on the back of mine with no issues, but that's with stock suspension. I have noticed that I've got less grip now than with the old standard SSV rims for some reason... Might be crap tires though

A common reported problem with lowered VEs on 9.5 or 10 inch "aftermarket" REAR rims and 275 tyres is the rear tyre fouling the bumper bracket that holds the rear bumper to the body. It depends on the offset of the wheels you have but if the offset is so low that you have to roll the guards to stop the tyres fouling then is is very likely you will also run into the bumper bracket issue. Some people remove the bracket and modify it whilst others shave it down so it just clears the tyres under full suspension travel. I have also seen some peeple reporting the need to do this to prevent rubbing even though the large enough wheel offset has not required them to roll the guards when running 275 tyres. HSV085 with his lowered E3 Clubsport and 20 x 10 inch aftermarket rims /275 30 20 tyres was one member that mentioned this - bumper bracket issues but no guard rolling needed with his particular wheels.

I would not rush in to rolling the guards until you test fit the rear wheels with tyres to check your guard clearances each side. If the wheel offset is high enough you will clear the guards with 275 tyres (but many 10 inch aftermarket wheels do not offer a high enough offset for VEs).

What offset number is stamped on the rear wheels?

grab dremel, grind down the tab just before the screw, file smooth.

    Still rubbing roll guards

still rubbing get a bigger hammer.

You can make anything fit :)
