Hey I got a 2007 ve omega I went on a 2 week holiday and come back and drove about 60kms and it felt like it was dropping out of gear then the contact dealer light come on so got it towed home drove to dealer started to wine. They say to do a filter change. Or change the gearbox. And how hard is it to replace the gearbox. Thank you.
Take the vehicle to an Auto Transmission Specialist and get them to diagnose the unit to ascertain if there are in fact ANY faults with it. May just require a service - probably should be performed every 50/60,000 km or so.
