Removing the whole thing can be not fun. It’s designed to be lifted at the front where the removable clips are.
Plenty of space to work on from there.
If you remove it, expect clips to break.

Some god like human posted in a thread here that had a link to a US G8 forum that listed all the part numbers for the clips. To the person who documented this, I bow before your greatness. I keep these images on my fridge as a reminder that good things happen. I have named a puppy
GM 92138946 in their honour.

I've met a few ladies over the years who would have benefited from such a procedure..
My friend told me most of the time they bolt it down after you have kids, LOL, LOL.

Yes, just grab one of the tabs with pliers and yank it out.
Good Man, will do when I get it, tomorrow job will be a Vacuum job as it dirty in there. I might have to lift the top cover to the max to see the drain hole

Stuff that, I just lift it up a little. Months ago I skoke to a person on this site of buying tools. Last week at AlDI I purchased a fibre optic Camera system for $70 Yeah it has a large screen and can copy the image or record. Now I will use it tomorrow to find that drain hole that possible needs cleaning. LOL

I believe there are 2. One is quite massive and you could squeeze 3 fingers into it, the other is towards the left side of the filter and just big enough to poke some wipper snipper cord through. You are best just reaching in there and feeling around for it, like delivering a calf ;)
