VE 2008 SV6 Engine Oil

Just chasing recommendations on engine oil. This is the first service I will be doing on a VE and wanted to get some feedback on a good oil. Planning to change to K and N Filter but not sure on preferable oils. Cheers

A good 5w30 synthetic every 7500km. Used Castro edge in mine just clocked 210K original timing chains still.

Awesome. Thanks. I was going to drop the oil every 5k only due to the fact that got over 400k out of a vr which helped I think.

Ive been using 5w40 in my Alloy for ages and now its got about 270k on it.

5W30 is reccomended for V6 Alloytech engines, i used Nulon 5w/30 Full Synthetic, make sure you do a engine flush prior to changing oil.
