VE accelerator pedal removal

I have the three bolts off.
How the hell does the loom connector come off?
Some many plugs that are bloody puzzles on this car.

It's a pain but you have to grab the front of the connector and pull it out (toward you) to release the connector.

Any tricks to do that to a sticky connector? Can't get off without a fear of demolishing something lol

How did you get to the top left bolt bro?

I had most of the dash out, and steering column lowered I think. This was part of removing the entire interior.
What happened after this was a nightmare. Found the pedal plate was rusted through all over. It was fkd

Finally I got my accelerator off. Needed to unbolt it to install a throttle controller.

I have to add I am pleasantly surprised how good the ultimate9 (AKA iDrive) works.

Have to relearn how to accelerate again in the highest ultimate mode lol

Hey mate..thank you so much.2 years after your post and it's still helping people out..I've always seen not all heroes wear capes and now I'm convinced that saying is right..unless U do wear a cape then I guess all heroes do wear capes..thanks again
