I havent purchased one yet...
I am still waiting to pick up my Ute.
Still about 2-3 weeks away...
Ill let you know when I get one though!

I do like the look of those shark fin arials.
Just wondered how much work is envolved in fitting them?
The bee sting's are so easy to install.

I dont want to loose any reception if possible.

You'll find AM reception will suffer especially once you get out of town. AM reception is dependent on the length of the antenna and shorter antennas don't work as well as a longer mast. That's if you even listen to AM... :p

Ok Guys,

I picked up my Ute and received my arial in the mail the same day.

No reception loss that I can tell. And I think it looks good.

I really needed to change my arial beacuse I have a low garage under my house and the original arial didnt fit under...

Hope this helps everyone!

Huge improvement. I hate the big "remote control car" type factory aerials!

I changed mine a while ago for a Mazda CX9 aerial. Best $24 I ever spent! Suzuki Swift aerials and a few other makes/models will also fit.

Does this still allow blutooth from your phone to work through the car speakers etc..? It will still pickup phone reception right?
