Have had turbo jap cars for the last 15+ years and one of the first things I always did was fit a brake master cylinder brace.
Makes for a firmer pedal and more feedback.

Has anyone ever seen one for a VE ? If one exists, I want one.

This is the only pic I have but it's not very helpful.

The best way to see many pics of the different types is to google "cusco master cylinder brace"

I used to have one on my Subaru and it did make a difference. Never heard of them for non Jap cars.

Maybe the firewalls on our big Aussie cars don't flex as much.

much..??? all early Commodores flex to buggery and hence their large brace

a VE's chassis has only about 10% the twist a VB had so I reckon i know why VE's
don't have a brace

Maybe. Or maybe it's just that there's no spare room under the bonnet any more.... :(

Yeah have had them on Jap Mitsi's and Subaru's i think you will get a better pedal feel going to steel braided lines. If you must have one just make one out of scrap metal or buy a $$$ cusco/similar item and modify it to suite.

Already have braided lines and they're a huge improvement ( also the brembo's up front ). Just chasing a nice firm brake pedal without eliminating the booster.

Yeah, actually now you mention it, I think there is one I could mod to fit.

Cheers.

Now, just want to duct some air up to the master cylinder and the brakes are done :D

The mounting location will be the hardest part air ducting to your B master. Is this a race car :) have you got ducting to your rotors already?.
