Hi there, strange issue with start today in garage:-( Fitted 4 into 1 extractors last week high flow cats, cold air intake, maf less tune etc etc. very happy with performance;-) went to start car in garage this afternoon (stone cold) started stayed lit for couple of seconds then stalled:-0 Restarted ran fine but now a f*****g check engine!! If I reset engine code by disconnecting battery will it plsy up with tune? Man these cars throw a code so easy! Any pointers much appreciated;-)
So many possible options.. If you don't have a scan tool I'd take it back to your tuner to diagnose.. Stalling on startup can be something funny in the tune..
Sounds like the only way to find it:-( hope I don't get charged anymore by him to find it! Already had to squeeze the funds out of the wife to get it tuned;-) cheers for that!
You'll probably find if its a cold start table in the tune he won't charge.. If its a dodgey O2 sensor or something you could be up for something.. Who tuned it?
Pbe sand gate in Newcastle. He was impressed with numbers to so little mods! Definitely rate his maf less tune and a6 tune!
What headers & cats did you get fitted, also, most tuners retain the maf when not going for huge power...just wondering why he went maf-less?? What sort of $$$ did he charge (if you dont mind me asking)...???
Genie 1"7/8 4 into 1 and 2.5 hi flow cats. Stock mid section straight through rear mufflers. Air hammer cold air intake. 800 bucks for tune.
