VE Commodore fuel gauge fault

    Anyone know why the VE fuel gauge fails. Pops of saying contact dealer and check engine light comes on and fuel gauge reads 0. Iv diagnostic scanned it and says fuel level sensor fault but iv replaced it and it hasn't fixed it.

    there are two sensors, approx. same place on the left side of tank
