davey, i just use iMovie as it can go frame by frame in tenths of a second, basically in slow mo there is really violent movement as soon as you start so measure from there and then I use the tach to measure speed, the digital speedo is about .3s behind and the needle is useless.

Well I had my 2nd lot of modifications done as I stated in the earlier post and I almost got my target of 330+rwkw, came in at 328rwkw @ 6,400rpm on a hot humid day so pretty happy.

Performance wise, it has major difference in power with the following times...

0-100kph 5.0s (slower than best without mods but wheel spin is a real issue, video here VE SSV 0-100 - YouTube )
0-120kph 6.9s
0-140kph 8.5s
0-160kph 10.2s
0-180kph 12.1s
0-190kph 13.3s

Wheel spin in 1st and 2nd is a major issue but as you can see once it's settled into 3rd gear it really improves a lot, shaved 1.9s off the 0-180kph. These were tested in Sports Shift mode and not tiptronic so once I test in tiptronic I expect they will improve by another 0.3-0.5s from 110kph onwards once i get the trans retuned to shift at 6,500rpm in every gear, currently 1st is set to 6,500rpm but 2nd and over is all set to shift at 6,000rpm)

It is hitting the 1/4 mile this Saturday so will post results.

About 2.5s but was hard to measure exactly with the wheel spin. The youtube video was actually 6.6s 0-120kph (the 6.9s above was a different run).

1/4 Mile results... best run was [email protected] with loads of wheel spin and a premature shift to 4th gear just before the line at 6,000rpm. Series 1 VE Auto proving to be a real pain due to the fact that I have to use tiptronic to get 6,500rpm (tuners left shift point for sports and normal 'drive' modes at 6,000rpm WTF!) and tiptronic on these is useless!!! One run I tapped it at 5,500rpm and it still hadn't changed by the time the rev limiter kicked in at 6,500rpm, yet another time I hit it at 5,700 and it changed at 6,200! AND on another run it skipped 3rd and on the tap from 2nd went to 4th!!! It played up in every run! It will be adjusted by tuners this week so I think the car will be good for consistent mid 12s once the trans is sorted and able to be run in npn-tiptronic mode and my reaction time is spot on every time, today it ranged from 0.100 to 0.310.

that runs 60" was 2.266, best for the day was 2.232. Yeah that was the highest MPH. most runs had comparable 0-330" stats as this is before the tiptronic presents the issues as I can get from start to the top of 2nd fine but after this it's just a luck game to get a clean accurate shift into 3rd, redline in 3rd is approx 116.5mph so in theory I should not need to shift to 4th down the track while I'm in the 12s. Roll on clean 2nd to 3rd shifts at 6,500rpm and I should see the mid 12s once Ive had a bit more practice with reaction time and best mix of traction/spin to accelerate best!!!!

Dont worry about reaction times, they dont mean anything when taking about et times.
2.2 60' isnt great, if you can keep the wheel spin down and get your auto sorted I think you'll be pulling low to flat 12s pretty easy.
Keep us posted mate. You've got to be happy with 12s.
