I realise it is generally not fair to compare a modified VE sedan to a stock production car, but without using forced induction, using bolt-ons, cam and a bit of porting, you can make a streetable Commodore with AFM go faster than one of these in a drag.
For between $5k-$7k.

700hp and under 1600kg's in the lambo.
You're not going to get any where near that for 5-6k in a commo.
Plus non of these 10sec ves are technically streetable.

Its pretty easy to get to high 11's with 320rwkw 4.11 and drag radials but thats costing more then 5/6k.

I was assuming heads and manifold can be done locally, so say $8.5k plus drag pack but let's not split hairs when comparing a Commodore to a $845k Lamborghini, lets just round it off to $10k.
The amazing point is that this car is a VE with stock bottom end plus $10k of bits swapped, and superfluous weight removed.
