Anyone...replaced a VE commodore sedan diff with a LSD one? Cheapest best way is to____? Spoke to holden, about $2100 trade. ####in rip off. Options? 1) Replace only the diff centre. 2) Buy from holden dealer after ages of saving. 3) Buy from aftermarket supplier. 4) Weld it. hahaha. Help, Thanks.
get one from holmart, about $1500 with shot peened (hardened) gearset, they have various ratious to suit auto's and manuals
I also believe that VE SV6 initially had an LSD. From the introduction of the SIDI engine, I believe that the manual stayed stock, but the LSD became an option for the auto.
the manual ones do, the auto ones don't try wreckers, a whole bunch of ####wit p platers in their drift machines would of written them off think that would be the cheapest lol
If your in Sydney I have a few places that will install the genuine products for you and they come with there own 6 month warranty if something goes wrong.
If you were in melbs id give you a number for a place that did mine after it blew the LSD change for 3.70 $1600 fitted
G&J Differentials - Diff Shop, Diff Conversions, Axles, Diff Centres, Ace Balancing, Street & Strip Gears
Actually got a quote. $850 if i remove and fit. $1200 if they remove and fit. Place on the goldcoast. Might get hardened parts etc/ so it lasts a bit longer.I'll figure it out.Commodore diffs are **** i need to work something out.
Thats way too expensive....... I got a price of $250 fitted, which includes adjusting the A6 shift points. (obviously, i would be supplying the new diff)
