Do it yourself man - it's really easy.

There's no holes behind the badges on VE's if that's what you're worried about. Just adhesive.

There's actually a good thread on here somewhere about it - it's called "How to Debadge Your Car in 10 Minutes"

Check out the back end of my VE (in my signature) if you want to see what it would look like without that massive Lion.

There's holes on some VE models (earlier models I think). I know of a few people who removed the rear badges and ended up putting them back on because of the locating holes. Pretty sure they were earlier VEs.

Two that I can think of that had holes were earlier model SSs, not SSVs (06-07 I think). Maybe they changed them after then. Dunno.

i drive a late 08 (my 09) ve sv6.. no holes on mine.. really easy just some fishing line or strong string and just wrapped it around my fingers and cut through the glue.. and just as simple as cleaning the glue residue off your cars paint without damaging your paint.. i used a bit of tarp on the glue and lightly rubbed it off, and finished off with some polish..
