VE Duspeed otr help, which is which?

Hey there, i have two duspeed otr cai and was wondering if there are any gurus that can tell me which one is series 1, 2 or 3.

i believe them both to be from a VE

the first one has a large filter that takes up the entire air filter slot. this filter has no brand name on it and is held in place by a fibreglass cover that is screwed down by two screws.
this intake also has the air intake temp sensor just in behind the radiator fill cap

The second intake has a k & n brand filter that slides in through the slit at the top. and is then pushed toward the throttle body to hold it in place. there is no cover or screws to hold the filter in.
this intake has the air intake temp sensor on the frontmost lip. ie the part that goes between the radiator and the front grille.

if someone could shed some light on which one is better and their reasoning that would be much appreciated.
In the mean time i will continue to try and upload some pics, my internet is being intermittent

The one with the k&n filter is the same as mine and it's a series one dus. Onto of the filter should have a small panel that clips into place. The other one I'd say is the series2 dus as the iat is moved.

This is mine it's got the push on filter cover and iat sensor on the very front of the OTR.

awesome so the first one is series 2, the one mounted on my car and the second one on the table is a series one.

Yes that's it. It's a little alloy clip that has the plasic riveted to it.
Contact dus and he'd be able to get another one to you.
