I haven't found a VE SS badge that's had locator holes yet, though as CSP said, hard to know for sure. Apparently some of the actual rear holden badges had locator holes (I'm thinking 06) but not sure. Mine is just smooth underneath (08)

Could always just mark the location with 3M masking tape while you swap them over. That won't do any damage.

Does anyone know if the early 2007 VE had a badge secured with pins or glue?

Mine is a 2007 model. No locator pins or glue. Just double sided tape (grey in colour).

Oh hang on... I read the OP wrong. My original reply was based on thinking the OP meant the Holden lion.

Sorry.

The other badges are just stuck on with sikaflex. NO locator holes at all.

My first one was 07 and it didn't have any locator holes when some turds badged it. They came from holden with the tape already applied.
