Can anyone throw us a bone on this.

The pads/panels on the firewall have completely perished on our S1 VE.
I need to replace the centre one behind the engine.

Holden say they aren't made or available.
If someone works for Holden, can they confirm this?

I did get one from a wrecker. It seems it came from a series 2 and there seems to be a difference in the location of the fuel lines on series 2.
I can't find anything confirming it.
So the panel I have doesn't fit.

Any ideas?

I was looking for some other parts yesterday for a VE at a self serve wreckers,
and they were both, Series 1 & Series 2, but that doesn't help you,
But letting you know, they are available here in Victoria.
If you were looking at some of the other wreckers here in Victoria,
they could possible post one out I guess,
as not to many people would be looking for the fire wall sound/heat deflector.

Yeah, tried Holmart. Nothing.

I could maybe get the S2 one I have to fit if I cut it to suit the fuel line. Trim the edges with insulation tape?

Could someone get a photo of their S1 panel and post it? (Well, as best they can)

I have everything out so it’s easy. No wiper cowling, no cabin box. Once that is back in it can be tricky to see too well.

Also series 1 had the panels cover the AC inlet. I’m sure the firewall panel was still flat.

I didn’t get any photos of what was left of my old one.

Here’s the fuel line and vapour line. Are these located here in newer models?

I didn’t get enough photos from the car I pulled the panel from either.

Series 2 still available. 3 part numbers to choose from.

There are 4 panels. One behind the booster, one over the booster and pedal mod plate. One covering the centre section and one for the cabin box.

I will follow up on the numbers.

What I’m trying find out is, does the Series two have the fuel lines in a different location?

Do you happen to know which components are each part number?
Pretty good to know the numbers, thanks heaps :)

xxx2706 is the small panel that fits between the booster and mod plate.
I'm guessing xxx2705 might be the same or panel next to it?
