Ve SS 2010
HI, I have a 2010 Ve SS with the standard factory stereo........The rear speakers have stopped working ( no sound from either door speaker).

Is there an easy fix or is the stereo toast?

Thanks.

Just to check, have you looked at settings in case someone/somehow played with fader? (Always good to check the free, easy things first in case they are the cause)

Yep, no sound when the fader is turned to the rear.

There’s an amp in the boot. Might be the amp that’s cactus or the fuse in the amp has blown (pretty sure it has a fuse in it IIRC).

This will be a dumb question.......where is the amp in the boot? I've seen a youtube post for the Amp being next to the battery on a VE SSV.
My SS is an ex-police car.........If there was an Amp I'm starting to think that its been removed as it's not next to the battery.

Isn't the amp only in cars with factory subs in the parcel shelf ?

Probably only in the SSV then if it got a better sound system than the SS.
