VE Flasher unit upgrade?

I've never noticed the sound in mine... I don't generally drive with my music up very loud as I'm normally carting a baby in the back, and never noticed anything out of the ordinary noise wise...

Did you end up fixing this ? Where did you get a speaker from ? I have same issue and I want to fix it but swapping the whole cluster then getting it programmed is a bit overboard really just for a speaker
