Oh and BTW the easy way to access the fuel pump is under the back seat, a couple of write-ups but yeah only takes an hour or so no need to drop the tank etc.
Yes I found where it is, when I changed it last time,
what a crock, you can not just replace it with a standard pump and go on your merry way.
However, I am reluctant to cut a hole on the floor pan,
I would be happier to spend the time to drop the hardware again and do it properly, than butcher the floor pan.
In saying that, I am a bit disappointed that you can not just replace a standard fuel pump without all the BS that Holden has to monopolise the vehicles, they don't own my car, and its out of warranty 4 years ago.
I am sure a lot of other Holden owns would say the same.
Its like the last time I went to get it serviced, they said that it recommended to change the plugs and leads,
and you have missed a service,
I said I have already done it, and change the oil else where.
they asked, why, We are suppose to do it,
I then asked, why, who's car is it ?, does Holden still own it ?,
I don't think so !, as I own the car, and paid for it in full on 2013,
and I can get it serviced were I like, they didn't like that !,
I said, I just need you service as per the scheduled service as per the book,
so I think they took a step back and realised, I'm not just the average Joe they can hood-wink.
They think they can dazzle the customer with brilliance, and then try to baffle them Bull.
Well they have done them out of a dis-service.
They just have to stop BSing the customers,
because they don't know who they are dealing with.
