Ve genuine hard lid

Hey guys anyone know how to get the ve hard lid light working I bought the lid second hand and they didn’t have a wiring harness and I figured if I can do it without buying the harness would be cool, I’ve got the central locking all connected up but I’m unsure of what wired connects to the lights can anyone help me thanks

If it's a genuine Holden hard lid, has someone cut the harness off?

yeah mate someone had cut the harness off there’s only 4 wires hanging out of the lid which is red black wire and orange and brown

yeah mate someone had cut the harness off there’s only 4 wires hanging out of the lid which is red black wire and orange and brown

That's a bummer, it usually has a 'curly cord' that plugs into a socket mounted on the tub liner on the rear cabin wall.
There's also a single wire coming out of the tub on the R/H side, that plugs in to the R/H gas strut, that switches the hard lid lamp on and off.
If you need it, I can get some pics later.
