SV6 VE Series 2
Hey guys,
First let me say if you have any suggestions or things that you believe I should know please go ahead and post them, as all feedback will help.

I've got a VE SV6 Series 2 which is currently stock, but that is set to change.
(I already know most of you are going to start with the "why would you work a 6, why not just buy an 8". Well to that i say I want to be different, I I want to work a 6. I know it's going to set me back a bit of cash, but in all seriousness how different is it going to be ;).

Currently my car is stock however here is a lost of the mods I've purchased and awaiting to have them installed, and the mods I'm wanting to purchase.

- SSV Taillights (purchased)
- Walkinshaw Power Pack
The Power Pack upgrades the; ECU, Cold - air intake and a Cat Back exhaust
- Audio Upgrade (sub+amp)
- quick Shift
- King Springs (SSL) (purchased)
- Brembo brakes
Don't think my brembos will fit on my 18" which means I'll buy either 19" SSV series 2 alloy Wheels or the 20" Pentagon's.

Once I get off my P's I plan to do the following:
- Supercharger
- Extractors
- anything else when I can think of them..

So let me know what you think, what I should change or what I should add.

so like every other p plater with a v6, you want to work it because you want to be different, just like everyone else...

save your money until you're off your p's, when you can drive any car you want without restrictions, then mod that.

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish from the whole "be different" statement but I have no other suggestions it seems you have it all figured out.

Atleast you actually have a brake upgrade on that same list. Why not just get slotted rotors and decent pads for the time being and look at $2000+ Brembos afterwards? You'd be fairly suprised what a good brake fluid change with that will do.

I don't plan on selling the car anytime soon... it's 3 years old and has only done 42,000 km... she's still a baby. And yes It might be what "every p-plater does" but every man and their dog work 8s..and who says I can't work both a 6 and an 8?

I agree mate. You don't have to have a V8, don't listen to these guys.

People were saying the same thing 20 years ago when the V8s had 165kw back in the VR/VS days. The VE SV6 has 210kw and would easily beat the old V8.

Power isn't everything. Be happy with what you have got.

If the guy is happy with a V6 then who cares.

He'll be happy, until he drives a V8...

I've modified my SV6 to have over 215rwkw and I'm still keen to get rid of it and get an SS.

Correct. The V6 has heaps of torque and horsepower for everyday use.
