Just a quick one guys,

I'm looking at replacing my interior lights with T10, or whatever they are, LEDs, and am wondering how the lights perform? As the factory lights dim and fade out, do the LEDs just flick off or do they flicker and carry on like a pork chop?

Cheers

I have converted all T10 globes to LED, for the dome lights i bought some ones off eBay from a bloke in Clayton Victoria, (i can link when home from work)
They do flicker once when turning off during the dimming faze but you really only notice it when you look for it.

The same globes are used on my parkers, they are bright inside the cab too which is good as LED's tend to be whiter but darker in the cabin.

i will link pics and the ebay item when i'm home. :)

Any chance of a video of the LEDs flickering? :)

Here are the LEDs
Blingwork Super Bright T10 Cree White LED Parkers NON Polarized FOR VE VZ VY HSV | eBay

The pic below is them on the parkers compared to the standard globe. :)

:EDIT:
Decided to do it now or i'd never do it haha.
Picture of interior with light on (I have a comparison shot with standard LED too which I tried first and it was crap these are much better)
then a video of both front and rear dome lights turning off, you'll see the single slight flicker as it dims and turns off!

Front light: http://youtu.be/Cly7KdRZ42E
Rear light: http://youtu.be/9FP6TciJ7Ws

Give the rear light video about 15 minutes to complete uploading as i'm shooting off to bed, long day. :)

I've done inside and out LED, it is a shedload nicer with a white light rather than a orange/yellow light.. sounds silly but it is better.

I'm not 100% on my glovebox, boot and puddle globes. may get different ones at some point.

Thanks for the replies, fellas!

Helped me out a lot!

I have read that the Xenon LEDs won't flicker, so I purchased a couple of those. We will see how they perform! :)
