VE k frame

I'm looking to put a ve K frame on my Torana and I'm asking to see if there's a difference in the K frames over the years in the ve's, it will be all aftermarket brakes and that so I'm not concerned about that, just seeing if the V8 ve's have different K frames than the 6's and if there's any performance or structural advantage to them
