Ve l98 idle quality question

Have a 08 ve ss ute l98 auto completely standard
Is it normal for these engines to be not so smooth at idle ?
Have a little putt putt here an there ?
Under load no issues or higher revs ect... mainly idle
Have been told they not the smoothest engines... iv only ever owned cammed ls cars not standard
Has new plugs, leads, coil packs, injectors cleaned ect
The idle issue is barely noticeable u have to really listen...

As long as you haven’t used cheap leads and coilpacks off eBay then I wouldn’t be too worried about it

Always been there... havent got to the bottom of it yet... replaced the ignition system practically and hasnt changed
